Agentic Authority Graph Validation AAGV

Agentic Authority Graph Validation (AAGV) is an agentic-web standard (document format) at step 3, Permit, governed by Individual Internet-Draft submission (no working group), author D. O. Watts; its own status is "Internet-Draft, Intended Status: Experimental; expires 17 April 2027" (draft). It answers: How can an implementer represent a delegated-authority graph in JSON and deterministically validate that declared revocation cuts disconnect all authority roots from all consequential sinks, without accepting vacuous or incomplete graphs? Adoption is unmeasured, last verified 2026-10-18.

Permit AAGV is an individual IETF Internet-Draft (Experimental) defining a carrier-neutral JSON model and deterministic algorithm for validating authority graphs with declared roots, consequential sinks, normal paths, and revocation cut sets. It includes anti-vacuity rules that reject empty sink or normal-path sets, dangling references, non-dominating cuts, and non-revocable cut edges. It returns INDETERMINATE rather than closed when relevant edge state is unknown. It does not define an authorization token, discover hidden paths, or prove physical containment.
